It’s been almost a month since I’ve produced a blog.  I’ve been busy!  I haven’t gotten much photography done either.  The eagles are around, at least.  On cold, sunny mornings they’ve been down at the river in good numbers.  One day my friend John let me onto the lock for a better vantage point.  It turned out to be a good spot for sea gulls, as they were picking fish out of the water right in front of me.

What else is new?  Snow geese are moving around, and seldom a day goes by when I don’t see a big flock, usually on my drive to work.  I’ve also learned that if I drive to Quincy early in the morning, like at dawn, I have a better chance to see an owl.  Of course, there isn’t enough light for decent photography at that hour.  You can’t win!

Big Guy is getting better at hauling firewood in the cart.  It tends to loosen him up though.  So on some days, he pulls a load, then drops a load!

Here are some shots taken over the past month.
